The Enrollment Estimator TM
The Enrollment Estimator has been free for schools to use since 2010 on SchoolAdvancement.com. How many schools have used it in the past 16 years?
I have no idea.
That’s why a new experience is coming for estimating your school’s enrollment for the 27-28 school year, and it will be available starting October 1, 2026, when your school’s enrollment numbers are “official” for the year. It will be part of the BASICCS Enrollment Suite, which will be made available to those school leaders with a Standard Membership to ArchangelAdvancement.com. A Standard Membership will be only $17 per month, or $199 per year, plus give you access to all the articles within the ARMED Framework – Asset Management, Retention, Marketing, Enrollment and Development.
I’m sure a number of schools will say “Why is there now a cost for them, since they’ve been available for free for so long?”
There are a number of reasons.
- Putting articles and tools behind a paywall makes them less likely to be accessed by AI;
- Membership statistics will let me know who’s using the product;
- They were made available for free because our household revenue came from jobs. Now that my wife and I are retired from full-time work, and generating income from part-time and project work, as well as retirement funds, this serves as a source of revenue so we can pay the bills, keep a roof over our heads, and provide assistance to our aging parents, our children, and our grandchildren. When company employers either downsize you after you’ve reached age 65 or they discover that the territory you’ve been assigned to serve only has 25 schools that have never used the company’s products, decisions need to be made. Both of our positions were eliminated, and our duties were assigned to other individuals. It’s the way corporations operate.
- $199 a year for tools and ideas that have helped schools over the past 20 years isn’t really a lot to pay today. I hope you’ll agree, and be excited about the new format of the Enrollment Estimator for 27-28.
